double Mother's day

Dear Mom,
it is certainly not a coincidence that you have birthday 9.5.
Well maybe it is not so good for you, because you celebrate your birthday and mother's day together, which means you get less attention. But hey- you celebrate a lot of days, because you are not only mom of your biological children, you are kind of logistic mother for so many kids, who would otherwise not able to be conceived, carried and born at the right time without you. Their photos cover almost the whole wall in your office and some of them are young adults. Their sick mothers weren't mothers without you, they wouldn't be able to celebrate this special day without your help. They will tell their kids how many obstacles they need to fight during their children journey and how you were their hero. There are sad stories as well. Women who never get pregant. Or worse- women who are pregnant many times and have allways a miscarriage, because of their underlying illness. But sometimes, when it seems absolutely impossible, when every piece of hope is almost evaporated and adoption papers on the table and then you are the last hope... Mikuláš is one of these miraculous kids for who I have special feelings, because you lived through his mother's pregnancy like it was yours. Miukláš is somehow my little brother. Even when he doesn't know.
